Based in Northern Italy, Ecoforniture refurbishes and retrofits electrical and hydraulic systems on industrial machinery.
Its core business is ecological machinery used in waste management and in recycling materials such as wood, plastic, metals and rubber. With years of experience in this sector, Ecoforniture has refined its offering into bespoke electrical cabinets, custom wiring and solutions built around each customer’s need for more reliable machines.
Ecoforniture retrofits HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces), remote control systems, PLCs and custom electrical cabinets. As part of its mission to improve machinery and deliver high reliability, it chose to build Power Distribution Modules into its workflow.
Replacing fuses and relays with solid-state switching in a PDM removes complexity and reduces future maintenance on the machines Ecoforniture refurbishes. Paired with CAN bus keypads, the new systems are much simpler than the ones they replace: multiple wires running to individual switches become a single two-wire CAN bus.
